I can't remember if I bought a STEAM game or not. How to tell?

Act Of Aggression. They came out with a reboot BETA because the original game sucked. I wanted to try it so I figured I would go to STEAM to buy the game then download the reboot BETA version. The game was sitting right there in my STEAM library. It didn't say demo or beta or anything. It just says act of aggression.
Does that mean I bought the game? I swear I can't remember buying it and its driving my crazy.

Because I use Steam (mostly) but also other venues, and even in Steam I buy codes from other sites, what I do is I search for the game's name in my email's inbox. Many times I see a game on sale in Steam, and before buying it I check my inbox and find I bought it like 5 years ago in some other site like direct2drive or gog or uplay or amazon downloads.

I did not know this reboot was a thing. The changes sound like they fix some of my most hated parts of the game so I will give it a try.

Yeah the reboot is actually fun IMO. It feels a lot like generals and that's a great thing. I will play it.

I tried it.
Like it much better.
One resource, easier to handle buildings and units.
This is what it should have been from the beginning.

Now I might actually try the campaign.

The campaign is still what it was. They only changed multiplayer. They would have had to completely remake the campaign and they didn't do that.

I search my GMail account when in doubt. It's more readily at hand than accessing Steam, typically.
