Hi there,
I've downloaded some Episodes from Heroes which are 150 MB each. Unfortunately, I cannot play the video. At first I wasn't able to play the video at all. kLite codec pack's Media Player Classic.

So, I was trying with changing the codecs of ffdshow. I changed it to real media 4. Now I can view the video. But, I can't hear any soung.

Can anyone tell me what I need to do to hear the sound?

If you can please help me. Your help will be much appreciated.

Thanks;
Razib

If you are curious, you can use GSpot to check the audio/video stream types. Typically, codec packs cover just about everything (usually with the exception of Quicktime Video and Real). I think you've established the video is RealVideo, now find out what the audio codec and download the releveant splitter/decoder for that.

K-lite added Real alternative to it its codec pack few revisions ago...
Still gotta install qt alternative separately though.

Otherwise, srsly. Use GSpot and figure out what codec is is using...

Get GSpot, check which codec the file is using and if it's available in your system. If not download the proper one. Problem solved :)
