I cant open iTunes.

I double click it, and it doesnt even open it just gives me an error. I even uninstalled and reinstalled, and also repaired. ive tryed anything. any ideas?

There are plugins for good software players which do this, and standalone programs as well such as ephpod. And unlike itunes, they actually work 😛

yamipod(freeware and good to leave on ipod for access on other computers since its doesn't require install, is small, and has executables for all o/s's.)

theres no good reason why itunes wouldn't work though. fully uninstall and reinstall. how old is ur install of windows. it might be buggered. i've installed itunes on several computers..never a problem.

Which is the best of those?

This is really annoying. It worked just a few days ago...

Edit: i tried using yamipod, and it also gives me a little pop up error when i open it...wtf?
 
Have you also gone into the Registry to delete the keys relating to iTunes, rebooting and then reinstalling the software? Just a thought. I've had this work with other programs.
 
even yamipod? sounds like ur windows is messed up. yami is just good to keep around since u can run it straight off the ipod for when u connect to other peoples comps. more features probably nice for using on your main pc though..so

No you're not, there are plenty of good software players out there, most with available plugins which will allow you to access your ipod. If you'd rather have a standalone program, ephpod is free & easy to use.

the effing problem was ace mega codecs pack. it works without that installed. now ive gotta figure out what the best codec pack is. 🙁

Installing tons of Codecs isn't a good idea. Much better to just install the Codec you need when you need it.
