Hmm can someone help me on this issue, i updated to the newest bios for my Soltek Sl-75DRV4,
and i have an Althon XP 1800+, but whenever i boot up, the speed only displayed as Althon XP 1300+
then i went into the bios and change the CPU clock speed from 100 to the max 132, the first time i did obtain 1800+ speed,
but after i restart , i can not boot in. Is there anything i need to change anything from the bios or should i mess around
with the Frequency ratio select thingy on the mb, or the processor core voltage select ? Im thinking i should change
the CPU external frequency setting from 100Mhz to 133.3 Mhz, and let the FSB run at 266Mhz... am i right ?
The redstrom overclocking functin in the bios is a piece of $hit, it frezzez everything at the CPU clock speed at 118, so pleeease
can someone point out how can i obtain the speed i should get with my CPU ? thanks a lot ~
