Help!

I can't O/C my T-bird past 850 (8.5X100). I traced the L1 bridges with a pencil and tried upping the voltage and multipliers. The strange thing is when I set it at 9X100 or 9.5X100, the machine posts as a 700 and 750. WTH!?! I'm using a KT7 by the way.

I had the exact same problem with my T-bird 800mhz. It wouldn't clock higher than 850mhz with my Gorb. I got rid of the Gorb and bought an Alpha 6035MFC and it booted up to 950mhz at 1.80v.

In my opinions Gorb are garbage. Alpha really are much better for overclocking - they got me an extra 150mhz over the Gorb. Rock stable!

You think it's the HSF? Well, I'm using a stock HSF right now until I get a better one...but it still should at least POST with the right speed. The HSF i have is holding pretty well...no more than 45C with a full load. I'm gonna try retracing the bridges this time...maybe with that windshield defogger stuff that people have been talking about.
