I can't modify or delete any files in my movies folder

I just upgraded to WinXP from Win2k the other day. I did a clean format of my C: drive and installed WinXP on it. I just noticed that my movies folder on my D: drive is write protected. I can't delete, rename, or change file properties of any of the files in the folder, but I can open and view the files. I don't have this problem for any other folders on my D: drive. I remember messing around with folder encryption in Win2k but I've never had this problem before after any format. I'm logged on as administrator and the only other account that I have is Guest. Any ideas? Thanks.

take ownership of the drive and then allow whichever users to have full access. properties > security > advanced > ownership

edit: woops, automatically assumed u had ntfs...well try that if u do

Thanks. I am using NTFS but I don't see those options anywhere. I remember they were in Win2k, but I can't find them in WinXP.
