I installed my AIW Radeon(original) on my new system. I tried to use Library program and got an error message "Failed to initialize program". I decided to reinstall the multi media center. I uninstalled ATI MMC but when i try to install it i get a message "all previous installtion of multimedia center must be removed before reinstalling" i have done that already. any suggestions please.. ?

Have you rebooted since doing the uninstall? It may need to reboot to fully finsih the uninstall...

There is a bug in the library application in the lastest MMC, look for mkraft's post in this thread. That will show you how to fix the bug. At the top thread in that forum, you'll see threads dedicated to install/uninstalling MMC/drivers. Sounds like you may need to prune a registry entry to reinstall. If you install MMC 7.6 and then install MMC 7.7 over the top the library application will work without using mkrafts method.

Good luck.

Yea, that library bug got me at first too. I generally check over at Rage3D's AIW forum when new drivers or MMC come out...someone will surely find a bug or glitch over there, and a workaround or fix shortly thereafter.

It tends to add to the enjoyment of having an AIW card if it actually works:)
