I can't get tech support from Promise Technology

I've some questions about a Promise controller that I bought, so I sent one e-mail to the support department and had no reply for five days. So I sent another one and still have no reply. Now it's the eight day and still no reply (not even an automatic reply).

Any idea how I can reach them besides calling? I find eight days is not acceptable.

Call them.
Eight days is nothing to get your undies in a bundle over.
You have obviously checked all of the docs that came with the card and on the website, right.

I've checked the docs that came with card and their FAQ and their downloads, but none of them have the answers to my question.

My hard drive during shut down or restart from Windows XP at the point "Windows is shutting down..." spins-down then spins-up and repeats about 3-5 times each times making a sound (the read/write heads I suspect).

This didn't happen with the MB controllers, and the drive's SMART features says nothing is wrong although I'm just concerned.
