I can't get on IRCnet servers with my DSL connection

hey all,
I've gotten 384/384 ADSL (yes, A) and everything is cool.....except I can't get on IRCnet servers now (which I could before when connecting with ISDN) I've tried with and without my firewall, all kinds of settings, but it won't allow me access. Tried open servers, limited servers, everything.....anyone maybe got some help? I live in Denmark, and I've always at least been allowed to get on irc.ircnet.dk, but it's no go......it just doesn't get on the server - times out.

Could your sharing hardware/software be blocking an identd response?

Try enabling port forwarding, port 113 is what IRC uses, good luck.

huh, strange.....just needed to up my timeout time....was set to 30 seconds, I used to connect in 5 secs average on ISDN
