I cant get my video camera to work with netmeeting

Hi,

I'm using a old Sony 8mm cam hooked up to my geforce4 VIVO, i wanna try and use it to do video conferencing but the video option in netmeeting is greyed out...any idea on how to get this to work?
 
That's usually the trickiest type of video troubleshooting. Plus, your camera likely has an auto-shutdown feature that you cannot disable, so your videoconference will only last a few minutes at best before you have to power up the camera again.

But I digress...click Help->Readme->Video, there are several different possibilities listed there that may solve your problem. Without knowing very detailed details about your machine, there's no way to tell what may be the culprit.
