i can't get my blue orb to attach to my radeon le???

i can't get the #$%% fan to attach to the radeon????
any suggestions????

right i have tried turning my case upside down so that the fan can have a chance to burn to the chipset on the video card, kept it that way for a couple days....still no go. then i thought that maybe i put too much heatsink compound on the chip, so i scraped some of it off, then reattached the heatsink to the chipset...still no good...

i don't want to use the double sided sticky tape either, i'm gonna guess that it's not as good thermally as heatsink compound.

any recomendations????please help

Wha? You know the Blue Orb isn't just going to magically meld itself to the card right? 😀. Since theres no holes for the pins you've got to either use the double sided thermal tape, or get some Thermal Epoxy (Arctic Silver epoxy, etc.).

You'll need to bond them together with a good thermal epoxy.

you know the limiting factor on radeons is the ram right? hope all this trouble you go thru aint in vain..
