Young college kids is who I thought they hired a lot of?

Yep, that's what everyone in here says all the time.

Interesting indeed.

Whenever i went for a interview, I would wear a nice shirt and tie, dress shoes, And also i had my folder with me that had my resume to show to people.
The way i type on here is totally different from how i talk, i am very presentable, i don't ask about how much they pay or what not. I tried for jobs at College,
the last one i didn't because i am a Freshman, They told me that you have to be there at least one semester to get the job,

This is just my two cents, though you're working a very bottom of the barrel kinda job I don't think employers want a cookie cutter employee.

Cater what you wear to suit the situation you're in, personally I wouldn't be wearing a dress shirt and tie to an interview at Wendy's, I would be wearing a collared t-shirt and khaki pants.

Not asking how much they are willing to pay is a sign that you're willing to be pushed around, in a service job this isn't necessarily a good thing, it means people can walk all over you.

I think you just might be trying to hard, and you're being timid at the same time which doesn't really help.

Trust me. This entire situation has everything to do with the way you are talking to them. Try your best to take this constructively. Even if by chance you applied for a job at a place that truly discriminated against you, the odds of this many places doing the same thing is slim to none.

When you go to an interview like the ones you are shooting for, you have 60 seconds to convince them to hire you. If you say or do anything that makes them not feel right about you then it is over. On top of that, your 60 seconds needs to be better than the 60 seconds of everyone else. Think "leadership" and "confidence". Do not come off as being fake by trying to act like the perfect potential employee. The rest is all nickels and dimes.

Why is your name on the no fly list? Maybe that has something to do with it?

As someone who has busted his ass to get somewhere in life, my advice to you is to really discuss your work ethic with your interviewer. Don't say "I'm not going to take any breaks", but say things like "I'm committed to getting the job done" or "I expect my manager to be honest and straightforward with me and he can expect the same from me."

A shirt and tie may be overkill for fast food unless you're applying for management. Fast food wants to hear about dependability. Tell them you have your own car, like to get to work early, etc.

Just a few thoughts. Hopefully they help.
