Hello,

I connected my computer on my Panasonic TH-42PX60U plasma TV and plugged the sound card (Audigy 2 ZS) in my Sony HT-DDW900 sound system. Video is excellent and audio is almost excellent, everything is working except my center speaker. I connected the sound card using this into the Multi Ch In. When it comes to the subwoofer/center jack, it's either one or the other even though both cables are connected.

Is there something I do to have 5.1 instead of 4.1 ?

Thank you

If you go to start, programs, creative, sound blaster audigy 2, then speaker settings are you currently on 5.1?

Yes, it is. I actually hear noises coming from the center speaker. It works fine when I play a 5.1 DTS DVD.

Edit
I mean, a DVD in my DVD player and not on my computer.

use a coaxial cable to connect the digital out (SPDIF) on your sound card to the coaxial digital in on your receiver. in your sound settings, enable digital pass-through, so the 5.1 decoding is handled by your receiver and not the sound card. if your card doesn't have a separate SPDIF connector (looks just an RCA connector), you might need to purchase an 3.5 mm. mini jack to RCA adapter from radioshack.

edit : i'm assuming that you are using the DVD-drive to watch a DVD.

The digital in on my receiver is already used by my DVD Player. I'd like to use only the Multi In on the receiver for my computer.
