I can't find who made this old motherboard with a SIS 5571 chipset

I need some help. I need to flash the bios on this board but i can't find anything on the board about who made the freakin thing! The chipset is a SIS 5571. That was easy enough to find, it's printed on top of the green chipset heatsink. During bootup the only distingushing lineis one that says V.571b AO2 08-12-97. From this, i think i've narrowed it down to a jetboard. However, i really don't want to flash this bios and then have it not work on me. It currently has a pentium 200 with MMX in it. It has 2 simm and 2 dimm slots. Memory was a real pain to upgrade, it did not like most memory. Does anybody remember this board?

ok i tracked down one that looks just like it, seems to be it almost exactly, y couldn't they just label the freaking board!

I've been in your position too.. I tried to match bios strings, and everything... finally I found a board that looked identical to the board I had... same chipset and everything.. I took a deep breath downloaded the bios and flashed it... worked fine! it was risky business but it came out ok.

I think i'm going to have to do that, just to be safe, how much does a pentium board cost now?

You might give this site a try. You can enter the numbers off the boot screen and this site will tell you all about who made the board etc.
