I am looking at the new arrendale laptops, while I can find reviews, I cannot find anyone selling any.
Any clue as to who is already selling them, and when can I expect them from other companies?
for example, anandtech reviews the K42 from asus, but its not for sale yet.
and dell website has no arrendale laptops that I could find.

edit:
I found some i5 in the dell studio 17 laptops, ridiculously priced too... "i3 coming soon"

The Dell Studio 15 laptop @ Home & Office has the i5. I will wait for Dell with more choices and by then, hopefully the price will be lower.

yes, I am just going to have to wait some more.

Speaking of, any reason not to get the i3 if it is cheaper? sure turbo mode is nice, but the i3 has pretty solid starting clock anyways... seems like the chip to have (if it is as cheap as I expected it to be)

I would rather pay the little extra for the turbo.

I just bought an HP Envy 15 for 1099+tax. Apparently you can still get it for that price if you call them up and ask for the $300 coupon(minimum price must be 1399).

It is a steep price, but a really nice piece of kit.

Core i5 2.4ghz
4GB DDR3
320GB 7200rpm
802.11n/bluetooth
Mobility Radeon 5830 1GB
15.6" 1080p LED display.
USB 3.0 (rumored)

And the best part is that it is also one of the thinnest and lightest PC laptops on the market. It is a quarter pound lighter than the MBP 15" as well.
