What case uses 3/4" standoffs and what type of standoff (there are many: female/male hex, spring standard (lian-li snap in type), plastic pop-in, etc. Standard are 1/4" high. All else fails, stack three 1/4 inch ones.

And BTW, standoff sizing is the distance between the mobo and the mobo pan, not the full length of the standoff. You also need to consider thread sizes and the female thread can be different from the male thread so be sure what you need before ordering. McMaster-Carr sells all sizes, but you'll probably need to buy a lot more than you need from there as onesies/twosies aren't their forte - mcmaster.com

I love McMaster-Carr. I often use them for miscellaneous screws etc, but you're right about the quantity. There's no point in them shipping less than a 50 pack of most small pieces like screws, but they still only cost a couple dollars anyway.

Here is another place that has some:
http://www.cyberguys.com/templ...cts.asp?categoryID=414 these people seem to have technical illiterates doing their product descriptions just like Newegg. The first item in the page is the standard 1/4" standoff. The also have the perfect screw for most desktop hard drive mountings that need screws yet say they are not for desktop drives - "they are too short". Yet you WANT short screws for HDD mounting. with 3/16" (~ 4.5mm) or less of thread.
