I can't edit my "personal options"

All I get from any change that I try to make is the following error.

Error:#
Variable FTVAR_USEREDITOR is undefined.
The error occurred on line 129.

And I know I'm not the only one. What is the fix?

Check your "Editor Type:", I had the same error until I selected on of the options.
