I downloaded a student copy of Visual Studio through my school for free, burned it onto a CD, and now I can't delete the folder that contains it. I've been able to delete everything in the folder all the way down to 4 files, which are:
-Reference (a 3kb VB file)
-service1 (a 1kb DISCO File)
-Reference.map (a 1kb MAP file0
-Service1.wsdl (a 3kb WSDL File)
Regular delete prompts me with "Folder contains a file whose name is too long for the recycle bin" Then it asks me if I want to permanently delete it. I say yes, and it prompts me with "Cannot delete localhost (the folder in which the files are in): The file name you specified is not valid or too long. Specify a different file name."
So I try shift-delete, and I get the same error message as above. There's gotta be a way I can get rid of this sucker. It's not taking up any room... it's just annoying as hell.
I thought about searching for a program that would delete it for me.
Any suggestions, programs or otherwise?
Edit: Also, when I try to delete the actual files themselves, nothing happens. It's almost as if I'm trying to delete something that's not there... but is.
Oh yeah, I'm virus and spyware free, so I've ruled that out.
