I can't delete a file. A file has _NO_ permissons, how come?

Well, my problem is, I uploaded several files via FTP to a NT Server. Now one file has just NO permissions, and I can't take the ownership with the Windows NT Domain Administrator. Is this a known problem?

Very strange, A file copied from one harddisk to another should inherit the permissions from the target directory.

Have you checked the microsoft knowledge base?

What ftp server are you running, MS IIS?

i think it you go under security settings for that file, the policies were probably messed up and all the access was taken off that file, you just have to reassign it to somebody.

As I said, I cannot change the permissons on that file, cuz NOBODY has any permissions. I can't take the ownership with the administrator, nothing.
