i want to change my email address to "email address B," but it appears that "email address B" is already registered.
my email right now (uclink4.berkeley.edu) is my primary account so id really like to keep that private. i'd like to change it to a not so private email account that is also on the berkeley server. however, that account (let's call it account B) is already registered. i think the computer messed up and associates that acct with me, but wont let me change it in the profile menu.
when i try to change it to "email account B" in the profile menu, it says it's already registered to another user. shortly after however, it sends me an email notice on "email account b" that my email has been changed and gives me a temp password that doesnt work.
id really like to change my email in the profile visibility to "email account b" ... is there any way someone could unlock any issues that are blocking my usage of it? (the forums thinks its registerd to someone else) i think theres a glitch somewhere
