I cant burn 2 dvds at once....

I really need to be able to burn 2 dvds of the same thing at once. I have 3 drives, 2 of them are dvd burners the other is a dvd rom. so i can do it if I just knew freakin how. I have heard people say that nero can burn to 2 dvds at once, but there is NO buttons in there that give that ability. I really need this to work, otherwise i am screwed huge on a big deal. someone please help. thanks in advance.

Pardon my ignorance..but is that even possible? I think buring two dvds at once would cause corruption on the discs of some sort. I wonder if it's possible to have two different burning programs? ie Nero and Alochol or something along those lines.

well so far i have tried to run nero and get a burn rolling on that, then open it again...which i can, but it wont let me use the same source drive. so i cant get 2 going at once.

hmmm, i saw the top one.... but the second one is interesting. i thiink i will have to ...ahem... aquire nero 7 ultra. However, i did try nero 6 ultra and it was not able to do 2 at once, the option was absolutely nowhere to be found. unless i am totally fubard, but it was not in the one i was using anyway. thank you for that second link, i hope 7 ultra works. otherwise can anyone else tell me anything. I see in the first link that the other two guys talk about burning 2 dvds at once like its a common thing, and they seem to do it all the time...

hope yall dont mind a bump, and an update on my situation if you are inclined to care.

ok, i have made some headway here. I downloaded the demo for version 7 and FINALLY there is a checkbox, the mystical freakin checkbox, for multiple burning. Ok...so, i hooked up all my drives and i got it going. i did not use on the fly. i made it so it makes the image then used that. however this was not enough, it would fail in the burn process shortly into it under 20%, this was wasting dvds... so i put in a drive controller and made each optical drive a master, this didnt work either. it failed the same way... so ... any suggestions now?

hey i was curious if i could burn two cds at once, same idea, but i used nero for 1 burning and roxio for the other, if you have enough cpu/ram power to do it all it will not get errors. i have an athlon 64 3000 and a gig of ram and enough hard drive space to store the data for the burning (its 7200 rpm drive if your wondering), i looked at the times for the two cds after both were done burning i counted that it took just as long as burning one at a time when i was done. it will work though, you just need enough power to do it and no do anything else while it runs, try a lower burn speed when you do it or try defragging the hard drive since those both may be the cause of it failing

actually thank you all, but nothing added here helped me. I figured it out myself. All you really need is a version of nero that has support for multiple burning.... the demo of nero 7 ultra actually supports burning multiple dvds at once. problem solved.
