i don't know crap about girls, but i think this is correct, try #1 and if Katie tells you to forget it, then do #2

1) You called to many times. Women easily classify guys as stalkers.
2) Why the hell did your friend act like she was interested?
3) ALWAYS have your friend "hook you up". NEVER call somoene you barely know unless THEY gave you the phone number.

My friend is going throug this right now.

Girl he is interested in is friends with his friend. For months, they were supopsed to be "hooked up". Nothing. All my friend can do is sit and wait. And that's what he's doing. Waiting for his friends to take action.

Anyways, I tried calling the next day, and got no answer.

The next day I called her,

The next day I tried calling again, nothing. Left a message

Tried calling the next day, no answer.

So I sent her a text message saying something like "Hi. I think you are very beautiful and you have a lovely voice. I really want to get to know you better. I have good intentions with this."

Each day I tried calling, and nothing.

Today I sent another IM to her phone

yikes, man.

LOL, yeah that's what I was thinking.... you ruined it dude by acting really desperate. Sorry.

Hmm, that's not really congruent with all the repeated attempts at contact, is it.

Not sure how far you got with her in your meeting in the apartment, at the least you should have gotten a hold of her on the phone and chatted her up a bit to get her back into the right state of mind before even broaching the subject of a date.

BTW, going out of your way to explicitly mention you have "good intentions" multiple times sort of makes one wonder if you normally drive a windowless van with duct tape, rope, a roll of garbage bags, OJ gloves, and various sharp objects rolling around in the back.

Holy geez, if your msgs were like that, no wonder she's ignoring you.

What a cr ock.

Nobody really acts this way and then posts it here knowing what the backlash will be.....then starts talking about having a big schlong and lots of money to "redeem" themselves. Sheesh.

these threads are just awesome.

It's an anagram for either "cod work" or "cow dork", but I can't figure out which one.

It's sad that some people actually do write/say that crap. Unreal.

Glad someone else saw this.

Haven't even read the rest of it at this point. Was trying to figure out what the hell you were talking about when I remembered Hooked on Phonics.

"ock word" *shakes head*

I just can't get beyond the use of "ock word." I mean seriously, this is worse than the guy that thought impromptu was "in prompt to."

shouldnt have called her. maybe if you had another personal meeting with her than that was another thing.

i think by you calling her so many times, that may have turned her off

If other people are around, it takes the pressure off you + her as a potential couple, and you can get to know each other and work out if you have even got anything in common. Maybe you could still take this approach, I don't know. But your approach is just crazy, you know almost nothing about her, and you're telling her you want what a married couple has (with her)?!? It's too much pressure, too soon. It's crazy talk. Anyone would run a mile.

im thinking this wont work since im sure the girl in question probably already called her friend and asked why she gave this guy her number

That is the saddest thing I've ever read on this forum.
