I was stopping by my friend tim's house, and as soon as I walk in, there is this beautiful, young lady looking right at me. She was hanging out with my friend Tim's brother (shawn) and his wife(katie). I walked by them, said hi to them all, and continued to walk upstairs to tim's room. As I was walking up the stairs, I hear this girl say something to the effect of "who is that?"
Well, after about 10 minutes up in Tim's room, I decide to go down for a glass of water. As I am walking down, this girl is staring at me. As soon as she could see all of me, she says "do you know who I am?". She did look very familiar. So I say, "You look familiar". She says, "my name begins with an M" Anyways, at that point I remembered who she was, and that her name was megan. I hadn't seen her in a few years. She was good friends with my friend Lyndsay, whom I was kinda seeing at the time when I last saw her. We talked for a little bit, but she was sitting next to some guy, and I kind of took it to be her boyfriend. Not wanting to be rude, I didn't ask her out or anything. I just told myself the next time I was there, I would say something to Tim's brother's wife(megan's friend).
Well, a few days later, I was at Tim's again, and I told katie that I was interested and that she should say something to megan to see if megan was interested in me. Katie in turn says something to the effect of "I think I need to give you her phone number" I returned with, "well thats kind of ock word" and before I could even finish my sentence, Katie was saying, "No, you need to call her....."
Anyways, I tried calling the next day, and got no answer. The next day I called her, but she sounded like I just woke her up, and she said she had the flu (its cold here). We talked for a second but I had to go because of meetings. Anyways, I didn't get a chance to call her back that night. The next day I tried calling again, nothing. Left a message saying I wanted to hang out, and possibly take her to dinner. Tried calling the next day, no answer. So I sent her a text message saying something like
"Hi. I think you are very beautiful and you have a lovely voice. I really want to get to know you better. I have good intentions with this."
The next day (last thursday) I almost die because I didn't know I had diabetes, and drank 10-15 sodas a day for 3 weeks straight leading up to that day to give myself a caffiene kick and get a coding project done. Basically had an attack and seisure while driving, and had just enought time to put my car in park before I blacked out. Woke up like 10 minutes later in a half concious daze, and drove my butt striaght to the er. They told me I had diabetes and the attack came from not managing it. While laying in the ER, I called Shawn (cause his mom worked in the ER) and I told him what happened. He basically said, "That sucks, so... did you hook up with Megan yet?"
Each day I tried calling, and nothing. Today I sent another IM to her phone and basically said "I want to talk to you, but your not giving me a chance. If you aren't interested, just let me know, I'm secure enough to deal with it, but if you are, just give me a sign. I really do have good intentions. I'm not a player, I want the same for me as what Shawn and Katie have (married/in love).
Later I get a reply back "Um... I don't really know you and I don't want that. I'll just leave it at that."
At first I took it as "Um, quit bothering me, I don't really know you, and I don't really want what Shawn and Katie have.."
Am I stupid? In clear English she says "I don't really know you and I don't want that" she doesn't say "I don't really know you and want to keep it that way"
So, now, its too late to call her. But is this the big blazing green light I think I see? It's late and I need some outside confirmations before I toss and turn all night thinking about it.......
