I can't believe microsoft is supporting spam!?!?!

wow, shocking.

don't think its "supporting spam" but rather having a way for people to send out mass mailings to subscribed members, i.e. subscription based services rather than just random mailings.

although it can be used for bad too...
 
Simple fact... MS will join any market that is a money maker. They don't care that they are supposed to be just a software company.. I don't know whether that's just greed or smartness.
 
It's limited to 10,000 mails per month. That's NOTHING on the spam scale. Spammers could do that in well under an hour. This is NOT a spam tool.
