Saw that trailer when I went to see The Island.

(I didn't think it was that bad. The only scene that disappointed me was when Scarlett is in a bra in bed and nothing is shown. She looked great in the movie though.)

The way the trailer sounds, they definitely weren't using recordings of Johnny.

That is of course the scene where Bay made her wear a bra when she didn't want to. ( :| * 100 )
 
Cash was great! Go find his song "A Man Named Sue". That was one of the songs that got me into guitar playing 🙂

and that's not close to his best song.

Go listen to "Give My Love to Rose" or "I Walk The Line" or "25 Minutes to Go"

I'm not a big fan of these type of movies. I thought Ali was terrible and Ray was subpar. I might have gone to see it, but it's a movie about Johnny Cash....

Even his cover of "Hurt" made Trent Reznor just seem pathetic
 
live from folsom is amazing
and i agree with smaug on both subjects. original hurt just came on the radio and i couldnt even listen.
he also did a great cover of Personal Jesus.

Here we go with another movie where actors turn into singers. Jamie Fox in "Ray", Kevin Spacey in "Beyond the Sea" and probably more that I can't think of right now...but so far they have been AWESOME! This is another movie that I will NOT miss!
