Actually, you wouldn't have today's music if it weren't for music developed in the 80's. No matter what genre of music that you listen to, with the exception of static genres such as classical), you wouldn't be listening to the stuff you love today without the natural progression of things which includes the 80's. I find it hard to believe that you don't like *anything* that came out of the 80's. You've listened to it all? You've heard all of the thousands of albums that came out per year from 1980 to 1989 and you can't find one single thing that you like?

I didn't say that I didn't like anything from the 80s, there are a few 80s bands that I really like. I was evaluating the decade as a whole.

Country music is not exactly a time-period work, now is it?

yup, 70s was almost pure disco, with some hard rock and country/western flung in there somewhere

Actually, it is. Country is more modern with a hint predominantly of rock, sometimes other genres. Western is old-school Grand Ol' Opry kinda stuff.

Only a few minutes ahead of me, but that's because I had to restart my computer after a software install, so the time reset. I usually listen to this or Digitally Imported's Happy Hardcore channel.

Oh, I can beat that. I got a screencap of my all time at work record listening....link (no clue why it was in windoshade mode).

Link to the second station? I may have to check it out....

Here. Mouse-over "Listen Now!" then "Hardcore Dance" then "MP3 Streams" then choose the 96kbps. The higher streams are for subscribers, but it's still good stuff.
