I thought I was doing good getting it to 1050 (7 x 150)...
but I just went for 7.5 x 150 and played Serious Sam for an hour....!!!

I must do some more testing but CRAAAP!!!

I can't burn this thing up....

I have the voltage at 2.17-2.2

The voltage on the DDR is maxed...

I must say that I love this Epox 8K7A...

Is it just me or does this make sence...

I couldn't do this when I first got it...but it would seem that I snuck up on 1125mgz!!

I couldn't even get 7.5 x 133 the first day but I just keep on sneeking a little more out of this baby.... as I type it is at 1125.....

ALMOST DOUBLE....

Can I get 75mgz more out of this baby...I wonder....hmmm

Any thoughts....???

I was just thinking this morning that I forgot to post this....

I have the original bios 3-20 and left the timing at default.

But as I thought about it, I considered hitting Sanda for some scores and then
turning them up and doing the same test again....

I know it's posted here somewhere, but what is the best setting for this...

I seem to remember something like 88882222... but this is going by my memory :(

I also need to get my new Taisol 760 finished today and put it on...

Congrats man. That one awesome chip. Usually people don't put that much voltage on them without active cooling solutions or at least watercooling. I am impressed with what I am hearing about the Epox board.

man that's alot of voltage.. I don't even dare increasing mine from Default!

for a while now, I've been running at 866 with a voltage of 1.64. my Duron is supposed to be a 750.

I've been thinking of seeing how high this could go with 1.85 volts, but I've chickened out every time! so instead, I just look for better ways of cooling it, rather then increasing the voltage.

Yeah...it is alot...

But better cooling will LET YOU increase the voltage...

and stay at the same or similar temp.

That's the deal.

I'm going for the HS upgrade soon to a Taisol 760 w/92mm fan!!

We will see if I can hit 1200!!

Similar story with my 600. Bought if for a first chip with my MSI pro2a but would only do 6.5 and 108mz so I put it away and bought an 800 that did 1000.
Got the Epox 2 weeks ago and got the 800 to do 7 x 140 and thought it was great! Put the old mb up for sale and thought I'd let the 600 go with it but thought I'd maybe try it to make sure it still worked. Still only did 6.5 but inched it all the way to 160! Tried up to 162 but wouldn't boot so now the 800's going. Backed it off to 150 as I'm away for awhile but want to play some more when I get home. BTW those ram timings are what I tweaked up to with my Crucial 2100. Great mb and cpu.

blackhawk, what RAM timings were you using in order to get to 160FSB? 8882222?
