Ya, that was classic. I would have been wrong as well (I would have said Andrew Johnson). But did anyone see Weakest Link daytime yesterday? Some guy missed "How many contestants are on Jeopardy?" He said "two".

What's the big deal on that one? I couldn't tell you for sure either, though I think it's three...

I don't watch TV, and my family watched very, very little growing up - So I've probably seen it fewer times than I have fingers, and probably not in as many years.

For me, that fell in the lag time between "Too recent for history class" but "Predates my birth so I don't remember." We briefly discussed Nixon's tenure at the end of AP USII, but we had already taken the AP test by that point, so no one was really paying that much attention. We didn't get to Ford.

I love US History. Some people on that show didn't even know who the first black justice of the Supreme Court was. Of course, we all know it was THURGOOD MARSHALL, and the guy to succeed him is Clarence Thomas who STILL is serving TODAY. I swear, most of the people that knows more about US History are the people who AREN'T US citizens. And, as we all know, our educational system is failing as it is in CA.

Hey there are some people that don't know the sun is just another star in the universe. Others that don't know who the president of the United States is today. And yes I'm talking about U.S. citizens. And no they don't have medical excuses (like amnesia, or any other brain disorder).

The day we stop paying stupid people exhorbitant amounts of money to do stupid things such as play sports, show up on game shows, reality (what a joke) t.v. shows, or talk shows is the day there may be a decline in stupidity.

I know what you'll say, bah it's entertainment. Yeah well deal with the stupidity that surrounds you then.

Comment was directed more toward the school system than the students.

However, anyone that popped into this world before 1960 should have known that answer.
Also, since it was such a major upheaval in the US political system,
Anyone who has completed the educational farse called High School should be aware of it.
