I've just brought home a gorgeous new imac 27. Up to this point I've been using windows, and have had the mouse set to 0 acceleration.

Now I can google the fact that Mac forces mouse acceleration, which gives me cramps in my hand that transplants up to my neck, so I have been looking for fixes to this controversial issue. However none of the fixes work.. they have no effect. I have tried USB Overdrive, and Steermouse. I can move the sliders around etc., but nothing happens.

I have a logitech performance MX. What am I doing wrong?

Mac OS transplants your hand to your neck, that's a new one.

Update on this: issue still not solved. Smoothmouse doesn't have any effect either, even the mouse speed slider doesn't change anything. I will try to uninstall the logitech drivers and see if that works.
