I cannot stay logged in...

for some reason, when i try to log in, it automatically spits me back out onto the main page without logging me in. it goes through, doesnt give me any errors, just spits me onto the main page and doesnt log me in.

i have NFI why it's doing this. i've tried everything i can think of. i've deleted cookies, made cookies unsecure, deleted the whole cache, even updated to the newest nightly build of firebird. nothing. it's screwed up.

i can make posts like this, posting using the damn "enter your login name to post" business... but it wont keep me logged in, even if i check the "i want to stay logged in" box.


i dont get this. it wont load specific settings, it wont do a damn thing. this is pissing me off....

I had a similar situation with Firebird....turned out I had accidentally blocked the cookie for the website 😱

That aint the problem 🙁 i wish it were that simple 🙁

it happens with IE too. and every version of Firebird i tried. it's screwed up 🙁

and it only happens with the account "Walleye".

i registered a test account (tester), and it logged in just fine.

Hmm, double check that a cookie is being set.

Also, are you running any firewall software?

I had this problem, it turned out the clock for my computer had been set to the year 2073, and all of the security certificates were coming up as expired due to the erroneous clock setting. Once I set the clock to the proper date, I could stay logged in again.

EDIT: Well, nevermind with my possible solution, if a test account is staying logged in.
