You guys where so helpfull the first time around, im hoping you could help me some more.

I set up my network between my desktop and my laptop. I have "Shared" some files without any problems, but im not able to share Programs such as my accounting software MYOB.

Could someone expand on that please?

Not completly true, programs like sage line 50 can run using a simple file share on a p2p network with no problems. However the program that you want to share must be a network version of the software. ie. Must be written to allow multiple users simultainous access to the data. This usally involves installing the program on both machines then changing the data store to a common location eg mapped drive x: to \\pc1\data.

For the most part though programs cannot be shared.

MYOB offer multiple user access of a few of its products US link here
