I can see my computers on the network but I can't share the internet

I'm running 2 Win2k machines.

The first machine has 2 nics, the 1st nic is labeled cable modem and the 2nd is hub.

The 2nd nic is connected to a hub. Both machines can see each other through the hub


Here's the problem: I can't get the 2nd machine to browse the net and it also seems to take a lot longer for the second machine to see the 1st one through network neighborhood, etc.

Does anyone know how to resolve a problem like this?

I am no expert but default gateway or DNS address wasn't set right.

What are you using for NAT (ICS, something else)?

ICS for Win2000 - Broadband WAN Connection.

Analog X has a nice proggy called Proxy that is free and works fine , especially in a pinch .
