I can NOT stop spending money!

I went shopping for clothes, got some CD's etc (and rent) and it's worrying me that I can't save up a lot of money. I get $500 every week from my job, how the heck can I get this under control.

If you got clothes, then was it for back-2-school? If it was, hopefully you won't spend any more. Are you paying retail prices? If so, shame on you... You should learn from thsoe such as RossMan and Psychoandy's brother.

a) Buy cheaper stuff
b) Use financial software like Quicken to figure out where your major expenses are. Create a budget.
c) Cut up your credit/debit cards and pay for everything in cash

If the above don't work, seek counselling. Seriously. You could be a compulsive spender.

Spending money isn't something that "happens to you." It's a conscious choice you make.

Sit down and figure out your financial priorities, then live by 'em.

Dont Keep cash in your pocket/wallet Put it in the bank and dont touch it unless you really need to for an emergency, dont go shopping either otherwise you will be impulsive and buy the things, i know thats how i am, but if i got only 10 bucks in my wallet all i can do is buy dinner
