I can mount my Vista image, but I can't run it???

I have used both Alcohol 120% and DAEMON Tools, and I mount the ISO file of 64-bit Vista to virtual drive G:. When I try to autorun the drive, it says "G:\ is not a valid Win32 application." And I get an error message like that when I right click and Explore the drive and double-click on the setup file.

Can anyone help me out? I don't have a DVD burner yet.

And your doing this from a running XP Pro 64bit setup?

I doubt you could install Vista that way, what happens when it reboots and needs files from the ISO....Daemon tools wouldnt be running, would it?

I'm doing it from XP Home 32 bit... is that the problem?

Uh, duh. I would think the "not a valid win32 app" would have been a clue for you. You can't run 64-bit apps in 32-bit windows, period.

Ok but I'm getting a DVD burner today, so will I be able to burn it and then boot from it, or do I have to start the installation while I'm running XP?
