I can listen to the same song for 2 hours. Is this some maniatical behavior?

Nope, I've been listening to the theme song of On-e-gai Teacher (Kotoko - Shooting Star) for about a week straight. Even when I restart I open up my music folder and play it.

that's been on my playlist for a while now... but it's just a phase, something will take over in a while

I didn't like Six Degrees. I'm not sure why. I listened to it once, and I haven't touched it since. I didn't even rip it.
