I can hear myself though my speakers! help!

Whenever I talk into my mic i hear myself come out though my speakers. This is a new problem that just started when I played a new video game. How do I set up my mic/sound so when I talk into the mic I don't hear myself. My sound card is listed below. Thanks for the help!

Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE 7.1 Channels PCI Interface Sound Card
 
In the Windows volume mixer, make sure the Mic playback and/or Line In playback volume is muted. If you don't see them, dig around in mixer's advanced properties.
