I can finally play the new doom this weekend

I bought the game yesterday. It is the day one edition.
I am planning to have a doom weekend over a few days.
The game needs a whopping 78GB to install. 😱
I thought it was only 45GB.
It will be finished installing in 4 hours and 49 minutes 😕.
I guess i will be a sleep while the game continues to install.
 
It looks great. I normally always have vsync on and locked to 60fps but turned it off for a moment. I just tested it in a small space with some enemies but even with the a10-6700 apu +RX480 i have, i get 120+fps all the time with peaks to 148fps. This game looks great and runs so light.
 
Well, i got the cyber boss earlier today and i am going to be battling the hell guards again for my second attempt.
It sure is not easy.
I really want to finish this game. When i am done, i will go for games with a more relaxed pace. Crysis i still need to play and the new prey looks great.
 
Games need huuuugh capacity nowadays, this make me very angry, Doom is awesome,need to try when i find 78GBs on my poor ssd 😀
 
I wanted to play some more. But Amsterdamned would not let me go home. Damn soccer hooligans holding up the bus because the driver would not drive unless everybody had checked in and blocking traffic. Meanwhile before that happened, an idiot touringcar driver getting his touring bus stuck under a train viaduct. Stopping all train traffic to central station.

This is why I keep Steam on my 256GB SSD and only keep one or two games installed at a time. I thought about installing Steam on my 2TB HDD, but I accidentally ordered a second SSD so I figured I might as well benefit from the SSD since I'll be installing it anyways.
 
Well, not everything that shines is gold.
Yesterday in the last level DOOM crashed on me when shooting the bfg. Sound would loop and image would freeze. I had to ALT+CTRL+DEL to get out of the game and kill DOOM through the task manager. And now i just slayed the final boss. But something invisible was prohibiting me from getting close to the boss to finish it off. Its head was flashing yellow and had no more power bar. Laying on the floor. But i could not get close to kill it. I could walk right through the arms but i could not get close to the head because something was blocking me. I have to try it again i guess. 😕🙁
