I just got the specials menu from the local lunch place.

One of the specials is a Cheese Steak with sausage, pepperoni and ham with seasoned fries.

Ugh.. I'm no health nut but that just sounds like a disaster.

:confused:

feel free to turn this into a "What's for lunch" thread.

I think I'm going with the Italian deli today. Ham, Genoa salami and fresh Mozzarella on semolina bread.. :Drool;

i'm getting really tired of my choices here for lunch.

2 Italian restaurants, 1 Chinese restaurant, 1 Subway, 1 Mcdonald's. There's a small diner that I've never been too so I don't know how the food is or how fast they can get it to me. There's also a small restaurant but they are really slow in getting your food to you.
I wish there was a Taco bell or something like that here. There's a Wal-mart being built so maybe once thats up there might be something extra going in.

I might get chinese today since i haven't eaten there in awhile

Mmm, that's how I know food is good; when my arteries start to harden and cry out in pain as soon as I think about it :)

philly cheesesteaks are the best. unfortunately, each one shortens my lifespan by about four years.

No, it's hardening... The reason it's hardening is because plaque sets ontop of the walls of the artieries inside and attach to it.. When you do exercise or put a lot of pressure on the arteries, they crack, break etc, like in normal people sometimes, in normal cases the body fixes the cracks/breaks etc. and it's no real big deal but if you've got plaque running through your arteries while exercising, or when they're under pressure (high blood pressure), the plaque settles in and the body repairs over the plaque, effectively reducing the inner diameter size of the arteries so I guess it IS effectively 'clogging' the arteries.

When I say 'break' I don't mean like spill all out inside of your body bleeding to death, just, are damaged etc.
