so i got my permit some time ago. i signed up for driver's ed and attended a few sessions. today, i went to the driving school itself and drove around the block. i was nervous as hell, but by the end of the session, i'm confident i can drive semi-well now. i'm guessing my next lesson will be reversing and parking. so, share your first experiences in the driver's seat guys =p

I ran into a school bus and killed like 3 kids... I couldn't drive for another 5 years after that.

NOLOVE's Driving Tips!

1) Check blind spots often.
2) Always be sure to signal.
3) No road head.

Please, please, please, don't be confident just yet. ;)

Meh, it is very likely you'll get in an accident sometime, what with lots of crazy drivers around these days. I got my permit over two years ago, have my unrestricted license that doesn't expire for 12 more years now. :) I'd have to agree with you about being nervous about driving - I definitely was. Still am, actually. Just be careful and drive safely.

Why are you bringing that up. I haven't gotten in any accidents, nor was i stuck. I was simply llearning. Just let it drop ok.

Congrats on getting your license. Be safe but enjoy your new freedom.

Okay, driving below 30 on a heavily travelled road does not make you a semi-good driver. I guarantee the speed limit was higher.

Because it's fvcking hilarious, and you probably had the same attitude. Just trying to prevent a few less idiots from driving.

Don't get all butthurt about it, you're the n00b who fvcked up.

It's funny, I am entertaining spending more money on a roadbike these days that I have on my first 3 cars combined.

I thought I was the best driver ev@r! 2 'accidents' later and I now have learned. BTW, licence for about 3/4ths of a year.

PS: One fender bender (with my sister) and I got run off the road. Both those taught me to pay attention and not piss people off.

Tip toes are for women. Use the whole foot, take 'er through the gears.

Im not a noob and i didn't "fvck up". I went down an icey road and the car lost traction. Nothing i could have done except avoid that road. That is not "[fvcking] up". THat is all part of learning, yes wasn't wise, yes stupid simply solution to get out of it, but by no means am i a bad driver because of it. If anything i am a better driver because of it, because now i have experienced the "power" of a car/weather first hand.

Told you to use your tippy toes to accelerate? Well more so use the ball of your foot.
