I finally stopped denying what I am......

I switched majors from biology to Computer Science. I have tried to deny that I am a geek for so long...

Oh, sorry for the misleading title, I am not gay, but I doubt I will be getting laid anytime soon now!

/takes ?generic humanoid carbon unit? shirt off and puts on AMD shirt.

There is no need to both PM and email us when you come out. We have may gay members and all are welcome here.

My friends used to call me a closet biologist. I still haven't come out.

Was it as liberating as you'd hoped? I'm considering almost this exact major change (Biochem to CS).

Depends on how much time you have in a major. I knew ppl that had two semesters into something and thought it was a life-changing event moving to another college at their university.

i switched from zoology after 7 years in it and having been accepted to Pharmacy college already twice (first time was prior to my AA, second was at my last semester of my BS in Zoology, Biology, Chemistry or Microbiology depending on the classes I would take during that last one).

My current college at the time would not let me switch majors, insisting I had to enter Pharm college.

I took about 4-5 years off school due to when I withdrew from that college to switch to FAU back home I found a great job back in banking.

I finally did a quick 4 semesters in 2000 and rec'd my CSBS.

If you wear an AMD t-shirt now that the Intel Core 2 Duo has arrived then you are still a nerd.

Yes, knowing that what I am doing now is worth something if I do not get into medschool is nice. I have been having nightmares.... waking up at 3AM with a pulse of about 110 out of FUD. I have not slept well in weeks.
