I definitely agree with this. I really don't mind, and I actually like helping people out with their homework. But if they don't even try to do it themselves, it is a bad idea to help them. If they try, and don't get it, that's a different story. I had to help this kid in my programming class who didn't understand cin and cout statements. He was from another country and just came here like two years ago, so his grasp of the language wasn't that great. Which explains why he had a hard time learning new things when he can't always understand what's trying to be expressed. But when people just post questions because they're too lazy to do a search on google, or they're too lazy to try and figure out the problem for themselves I say, "too bad for you. I'm not going to let you get a grade you don't deserve! Try a little."
But seriously though, people with honest questions should get a little more help too. I asked for help in the software forum and after 75 looks, not one person offered to help out. 🙁
