Return it or ask for price-readjust; If you bought it on Discover or AMEX, you can ask for price protection from the CC Company

Motorola has a FAQ up addressing your exact situation. I couldn't find it right now though, hang on...

Neither solution is pretty but at least they'll make sure you got your money's worth.

Edit:
I couldn't find it, but in short if you're still within the first 14 days, you have two options, either buy another one and return the first one for full credit, or contact their customer support and they'll give you store credit for accessories, etc.

Edit 2:
Yup, thanks Rayvn. And yes I forgot to mention, but obviously you still needed to grab the code at the one hour sale period.

nah it isn't the promo, it was just a regular price drop

i ended up chatting w/ customer support and they said they would give me a 70$ credit towards the store. the motorola buds look pretty good and they cost 70$, so i will probably just use it to pick those up

better than nothing i guess, and then i wont have to go through the hassle of returning

Ah, sorry. I didn't realize they had two different specials going on. They had a $100 off coupon you could get today for 1 hour. And I see they also cut $70 off the price until February 14th.

Hmm... Does this mean that people that got the $100 off promo code could get the phone for $230??? If so, holy crap I really wish I jumped on that now then.

No, the coupon is $30 off the already $70 discounted price from today until valentine's day.

Ahh.. a nice job from the marketing department. They spread the word last Friday that Monday for 1 hour only people could get $100 off on the Moto X. But it's really only $30 off and everyone gets $70 off for over two weeks.

Gonna pick one up just to see what the fuss is all about...doubt I'll need 32GB, but does it have any tangible performance differences over the 16GB similar to how a larger SSD gains in writes speeds?

No real difference other than double the listed internal memory. Whether you actually get 16GB or 32GB of usable memory is another story....

I got a coupon because I was thinking about it for my yearly 'try something other than iOS' run, but I'm not going to use it. If anyone wants a $100 that they're actually going to use, please PM me. I'd love for someone whom was going to buy the phone to get an extra $30 off.

Hey Bearxor still have that code? I'm a longtime iOS user looking to switch. $100 off would make the deal that much sweeter. Thanks!
