While out today enjoying the classic football toss Christmas afternoon, I went out for a pass from my nephew.. He zinged a bullet low and way in front of me.. I pushed, stretched... WHAM! Slammed on the hard concrete..

Now my palms and knees are roughed up, and sore.. Too sore to play Q3..

Otherwise, Christmas was great!

Ouch. I know how that feels. I was playing football with my brothers once, and as I was going for a touchdown I got slam tackled to the ground. Messed my knee up and put an ugly scratch over my stomach and palms. I finished the game, but boy did I feel it later on.

Ouch! Reminds of the time we were playing a pick up game one Christmas. My buddy is running a crossing route and gets zinged a pass. He's going full bore, makes the grab, turns to run with it, and is immediately tackled by the large oak tree in the middle of our yard.

Rapid deceleration. He was out cold. He did live to play another day though.

I love playing football, oh but it hurts heh Im getting to old to keep it up. Last time I played a guy jumped for a high pass, one handed catch, then he was caught in mid air and basically powerbombed on his arm behind his back.....broken wrist YOW looked painful.
