i broke the lever

hello guys i need some help, yesterday i tried to replace my video card and i broke that little lever at the end of the slot and i cant get my old video card out. how can i get it out?
 
Without seeing pictures im not sure just how "broke" the pcie lever is. Can you take some pictures? It will be a lot easier to make suggestions that way
 
If I'm thinking about the right part, "that little lever" is the lock that keeps the card in. All you have to do after unscrewing it from the back plate, is pull it out.
 
Depends if he broke it in a locked or unlocked position and as he is posting here im guessing it is the former.
