So, i bought this dlink airplus extreme G pcmia card right, ive had it for like 5 months, and i kept dropping it, all of a sudden, it stops working! like, wtf!

90$ when i bought it now its still like 70-80 :disgust:
 
no seriously, i took it apart, and nothings loose. theres like a big metal "plaque", im guessing it might be something in there thats loose? any ideas on how i could fix this? i ahve a soldering iron, and lots of electronic tools, and i know how to use em, just dont know whats wrong with the thing 🙁

the 74 gig raptor.. took it out of the box, slipped out of my hands and hit the metal base of my chair, i nearly lost my lunch there.

but it worked and still does.

the 74 gig raptor.. took it out of the box, slipped out of my hands and hit the metal base of my chair, i nearly lost my lunch there.

but it worked and still does.

hate when that happens.. had a P4 2.4B about a year ago go flying out of the package when i ripped the STUPID shrink wrapped package apart... it hit the ground on the corner and bent about 30 freakin pins..
it's still in my system at work to this day though 🙂
after about half an hour of surgery it works fine.

but honestly, i am not surprised it doesnt work after being dropped... i don't blame anything for not working after it's been dropped... it can't be good for many things!!!!

I was so unlucky with it 🙁

Dropped it about 15 times! lol.

every time im like, "Ah crap, not again" and plug it in and it worked, not the last time though 🙁 so then I told myself, If i drop it backwards it will work again, after serveral attempts, still nothing 🙁
 
I get it! This is, like, a parody thread, right?

But if this is serious, and I hope it's not, aren't you in the warranty period?
