I broke my mail key inside the mailbox lock...

HELP...my mail key broke. Half of it is still inside of the lock...I can see it. I tried a couple of things but still can't get it out...any tips?

Call maintenance.

Or a locksmith.

You could try pressing some clay against it then pulling it out. maybe.

Get some solder and a soldering iron and solder a paper clip to the broken piece and let it harden. Then pull.

I'd bring some superglue, put it on the broken end of the key, press it against the broken end that's in the box, and hold tight until it bonds.

Also, assuming you probably live in an apartment complex, just call maintenance.

I actually thought of this before, after you mentioned I tried it, couldn't get a hold of the key.

Thank you for your help.

When I search in Google how I could take out broken mail key piece in mailbox in my condo, I followed Phokus and Zim Hosein's tip and I was able to get my broken key piece out from mailbox just using paper clip my mom had and was able to open mailbox with my mom's mailbox key.
