While pressure washing the patio, i stepped back and slipped in a small puddle of water that had gathered behind me that I didn't see. I fell forward and as I reached my arms out to stop my fall, the underside of my right arm caught the side of the engine with the company name embossed on it. Unfortunately my arm kinda stuck to it for a second, and lucky me, I now have the company name branded into my right arm in a lovely shade of shiny red with some nice blisters:(

Too bad the machine couldn't be from a halfway cool name like Ryobi or DeWalt, no, my arm says 'HUI'. Oh well, hopefully it will go away.

EDIT: As requested, a PIC

Pics?

neosporin until alll the burns/blistering heals, then super vitamin E rich moisturizers 4 times a day until any scarring goes away. Vitamin E therapy could take years depending on the severty of the scars, but it does work. Just keep it out of the sun until its 100% back to normal.

I'm sorry, but that is kinda funny looking. Sure it must have hurt though, I have a scar on my arm from a burn, they hurt a lot.

Just make a joke out of it. When you show the scar to people, tell them when it happened, it hurt so bad that you hollered out, "Hooooo-eeeeee!!!!!"

When I was a young lad of 18, I had a summer romance with an older woman 22. We were in a steam bath in the middle of a Wisconsin forest when, things began to heat up. We hadn't made it to horizontal when I accidentally backed her up into the wood burning stove. Not being terribly experienced, I mistook her moans for passion and held position for a few seconds. Lets just say she had nilknarF neatly branded on one cheek. I suppose laughing about it was a bad move as I scrambled/fell out the door while being pelted with chunks of wood.

She later married her plastic surgeon so, it all worked out...in the end.

Hopefully you poured cool (not cold) water over this for 5-10 minutes after it happened. If so, you may get no lasting affects.

However, if you ran inside and put ice on it or covered it with some oily substance like neosporin right away you will probably have a mark there for a long time.

But seriously, ouch. And what have you done so far to care for it?
