:sigh:

Went bowling a couple times this weekend with my fiancee and a couple of other friends, some of which were female. I normally bowl right handed and I average around 145 or so.

My fiancee gets grumpy because I always win, and some of the other women were complaning because us guys were beating them too often. Soooo, myself, and a friend of mine being the nice, caring, compassionate men that we are ;) decide to break out the left hands and give that a try.

After gutter balling the first frame or two, I got the feel down and wound up bowling an 80 the first game, and an 87 the second game...both better than the women.

Sheesh!

Anybody else halfway decent with their off hand in bowling?

i am about equal with both hands so i guess it doesnt matter. bowl about 95-105 with either hand. i seem to be more in control left handed,

That'll take care of everything. The ladies win, look more attractive, etc,etc...

What, they're not awed and all over you for your 1337 bowling skills? Sit 'em down and show you stuff on C-S, they'll be drooling. ;) Seriously, if you went from about 145 to 85, they have to be satisfied with your attempts. But it doesn't appear that they either like or are good at bowling, so try some other activities.

Take a really light ball, like 8 lbs, and then roll it slowly with lots of backspin. Don't roll too slowly though, or it will may get stuck in the gutter. I did that once, and the bowling alley attendant came and yelled at me because she thought I had hit the pinsetter. The ball never touched it. Most of the time, when the ball finally reaches the pins, you most likely will not knock down more than six. I knocked down all but the four pins in the back row once.
