I bought the Outpost ram

$150 a stick, two sticks. Just got it and installed it in my Gateway 7405gx tonight - works great! I just wanted to let everyone know it's working fine for me. It's from a company called Legacy Electronics Inc. Specs are 1gb, 128x64, pc2700 (ddr333), cl 2.5. What a steal!

That ram has been up on the one mac forum that i also visit quite frequently. I missed getting a stick when it was only $139.99 a stick. The next day it went up $20. It's supposed to be very good, few if any people had posted that they had any probs with it. Good deal!

This is burn your pants off hot deal for G4 PowerBooks. Crucial charges $480 for a stick of 1GB. Apple chargers $1200 for a pair of 1GB. Is this in the hot deals forum?

Yeah, this is a great deal! Outpost keeps raising and dropping the prices, however. The lowest I've seen it at is $140. I've seen it as high as a $170. I jumped in at $150, and it's $160 right now. Even at $170 it's still a hot deal, however.
