I bought something from best buy using my CC...but it doesn't work right...

...or would I have to be there since its my CC? I work now...am busy...know someone who isn't busy and is willing to do it for me...but can I?

And yes...I'm lazy enough to ask ATOT, yet not call BB for the definitive answer.

If its an exchange, I don't see why they would give you a hassle. But it is BB, so who knows

welll...one router's range isn't that good. I want to try a different one. My friend will pay the difference (if there is) and I'd make it up to him later

i tried getting an exchange for a different item for a graphics card i bought from someone who included the receipt... they didn't let me because it was paid with cc and the cc holder wasn't there. this was at compusa.
YMMV though

You dont need to be there. Even to return it, they dont need the CC at BestBuy. They scan the bar code from the receipt, and your friend can return/exchange it.
